Privacy Policy

Short version: we collect what we need to run your account and score your practice. We do not sell your data, and we do not train AI models on your conversations.

1. Who we are

Scenyo is operated by BRANDISTRIES LLC ("we", "us"). Contact: hello@scenyo.com.

2. What we collect

• Account data: name, email, password hash, and, if you use Google sign-in, your Google account ID and avatar URL.
• Practice data: the scenarios you run, your messages, the AI's replies, and the scores and notes we generate.
• Scenarios you build: titles, characters, goals, rubrics, and branches.
• Billing data: your plan, subscription status, and a Stripe customer ID. Card numbers go to Stripe; we never see them.
• Technical data: IP address, browser type, and basic request logs used for security and rate limiting.
• Anonymous sessions: if you practice without an account we set a random token cookie so we can show you your score. It is deleted after 24 hours unless you sign up.

3. How we use it

• To run conversations and score them, your messages are sent to Anthropic's API (Claude). Anthropic processes them to generate replies and does not use API data to train its models.
• To send account emails (verification, password reset, receipts) and, if you opt in, score summaries and a weekly digest. Email is sent from our own servers; we do not share your address with third-party email providers.
• To bill you through Stripe.
• To keep the service safe: rate limits, abuse detection, and audit logs of admin actions.

4. Who can see your practice sessions

Only you. Scenario creators never see the sessions people run on their scenarios, only run counts and average scores. If you create a share link for a result, anyone with that link can see that one transcript and score. You can stop sharing by contacting us.

5. Cookies

We use a session cookie to keep you logged in, a CSRF cookie to protect forms, an optional "remember me" cookie, an anonymous practice token, and a local setting for your light/dark theme. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party trackers.

6. Retention

We keep your data while your account is active. If you delete your account we remove your name, email, and login details right away and the account can no longer be used. Practice transcripts linked to a deleted account are no longer reachable by anyone and are purged on request. Billing records are kept as long as tax law requires.

7. Your rights

You can view and edit your profile on your account page and delete your account at any time. Email us for a copy of your data or for anything you cannot do yourself, including requests under GDPR or CCPA.

8. Children

Scenyo is not for children under 13. Teachers using Scenyo with students are responsible for the consent their school requires.

9. Changes

If this policy changes in a way that matters, we will email account holders and update the date above.
